From January 15 to 16 there will be a "Maraton Arte Paz y Diversidad" taking place in Second Life at Hispanos sim (teleport link.) The English is a bit sketchy, but from what we can gather, the organizers are looking for any kind of artist, musician, or poet who wants to perform during the two day event. The goal of the event is to "transmit positive energy" because
... we think the union is possible, not just by taking our hands, but joining our oices and approaching our souls, despite the material barriers. Because we think that the true value of globalization is in the richness of diversity of the human cultures. Because we think that the Art is the bigeest expression of the soul, strong and sincere, raising ideas and empowering our lifes. Because we know that only the unity will bring true peace.
