The University of Delaware sends out the news that they will be simulcasting an address by US Vice-President Joe Biden on Friday September 16 at 1pm PDT in Second Life. It take place on the UD Imagination sim (teleport link.)
According to the official notice, the Vice President will deliver the inaugural "James. R. Soles Lecture on the Constitution and Citizenship" and then he will be gifting three decades of U.S. Senate papers to the University of Delaware library. This is a live video simulcast, but regretfully no questions will be taken at this event.

Also on Wednesday, September 14, at 4:30pm PDT, the University of Delaware is hosting a talk by Candy Crowley, political correspondent at CNN in Second Life on the University of Delaware sim (teleport link). At this event, questions will be taken from the virtual and real world audiences.
