The American Cancer Society is holding their annual breast cancer awareness campaign "Making Strides Against Breast Cancer" over the month of October, over a variety of media channels, including Second Life:
October is breast cancer awareness month and each year, avatars in Second Life use their creativity and generosity to help raise money for the American Cancer Society through Making Strides Against Breast Cancer. You can help fight breast cancer all month by placing a donation kiosk on your land, at your store, club or parcel.
